(9) The entered feeder No. is compared with the specified one.
(10) When the compared data is identical, “<OK>” appears on the bot-
tom right of “READ ID”.
After the window has appeared for a certain period of time, the
feeder No. (FDR NO.) and the component name (ID) to be checked
subsequently are displayed.
After the components of all feeders are checked completely, the
system is shifted to the “7.3.4 Result Response” session.
(11) When the compared data is not identical, a warning peep sounds
twice and “<NG>” appears on the bottom right of “READ ID” and
the window (Fig. 10) resumes, enabling the checking of the feeder
No.
7.3.9 Entering the name (ID) of the component manually that
caused a component shortage error
When the reader fails in reading the bar code or the expected result is
not obtained, the component name (ID) can be entered manually.
Shown below is the window which enables you to enter the component
name (ID) manually.

8. Data Operation
When “3. OPERATE” is selected at the “** MAIN MENU **” window
(Fig. 4), the following window appears on the screen.

SWAP : Select this label to replace the component list of the current
program (current product’s program) stored in the bar code
reader with the list of the next program (next-term product’s
program). This function should be used when a program
change operation is performed.
CLR1 : Select this label to clear the component list of the current
program stored in the bar code reader.
It is required to clear the list once when all feeders of the
current program are checked.
CLR2 : Select this label to clear the component list of the next pro-
gram stored in the bar code reader. It is required to clear
the list once when all feeders of the next program are
checked.
FDR : Select this label to set “ON” or “OFF” for “FDR CHECK ?”
when the feeder No. (FDR NO.) should also be checked
with the component and the actual objects (Nos. of the cur-
rently selected and newly prepared feeders) are collated.
8.1 Operation
(1) When the [F1] (SWAP) key is pressed, the ID list of the current
program (current product’s program) is replaced with the ID list of
the next program (next-term product’s program).
(2) When the [F2] (CLR1) key is pressed, the ID list of the current pro-
gram is cleared.
(3) When the [F3] (CLR2) key is pressed, the ID list of the next program
is cleared.
(4) When the [F4] (FDR) key is pressed, it is determined whether or not
the selected feeder No. should be checked.
