Check that the base module is switched on and that all 3 LEDs light up.
If the three LEDs light up, then the + 24 V- (red), + 15 V- (yellow) and + 42 V- (green) supply
voltages are present (see section 4.2
, page 26). 8
If one of the LEDs does not light up, contact SIPLACE Service. 8
If all 3 LEDs do not light up, check the 2.5 A fuse (item 1 in Fig. 8

8.3.6 Camera interface card not detected or driver not installed
In Device Manager on the vision computer, check whether the driver for the CAN camera in-
terface card has been installed correctly. There must be a "Baumer PCI-A14" entry under "Bau-
mer Optronic Interface Cards Series A".
If you cannot find this entry, look for the "Coprocessor" entry. In this case, you will have to
reinstall the driver:
Insert the "Software Vision Teach Station" installation CD.
Under Properties Drivers tab, select the "Update drivers" button.
Select "Install from a list or specific location" and enter the following directory of the installation
CD:
\CameraDriver. 8
If the boifcxdrv.sys file is needed, you will find it in the same directory.
If you cannot find the "Coprocessor" entry either, then the camera interface card is defective. 8
8.4 Messages when starting up for the first time after re-installation
After re-installation or when the software is updated, when the application is started for the first
time, it will update the firmware on the camera illumination or camera interface card.
When the "Teach Station" application is started for the first time, this may mean that the following
messages are displayed:
(1) Updating of the firmware for sensor type xx has started. This will take approximately 2
minutes. Please do not interrupt the update. This could damage the camera configuration.
(2) Firmware for the camera interface card was updated. Please shut down the computer, switch
off at the power switch and restart.
Please follow the instructions in the messages.
