2.1 Reason for the retrofit
If the power fails and returns, and the nominal voltage then drops below the specified 5% of supply
voltage, the problem may be that the inrush current limiter is not conducting. In the worst case,
this can lead to scorching on the inrush current limiter. 2
This risk affects module 03003056 which is installed in the SIPLACE HF, HF3, X2, X3 and X4 ma-
chines. 2
Replacing the module with this retrofit kit (item no. 00383025-01) serves to eliminate this potential
hazard. 2
