Sealing disk and O-ring on reflecting ring (example of
C&P20 P shown)
► Check the reflecting ring for dirt and damage. Re-
place if necessary.
► Check the sealing disk on the reflecting ring for con-
tamination and damage and replace this if necessary.
► Check that the O-ring is positioned correctly on the
reflecting ring.
► Insert the reflecting ring again. Make sure you posi-
tion the sealing disk and centering pin correctly.
► Tighten the three screws fastening the reflecting ring
with a torque of 0.25 Nm.
► Do not refit the cover yet.

Checking the silencer
NOTICE
Vacuum test
► When carrying out the following tasks, especially check the segments that were noticeable
during the vacuum test.

Camera lens system
► Make sure that you do not damage or contaminate the camera lens system.
NOTICE
Silencer or reflecting ring
A silencer is fitted in place of the reflecting ring for compressed air operation.
NOTICE
Recommendation
We recommend that you have an additional holding circuit available, so that this can be easily
replaced during head maintenance.

Silencer
► Dismantle the silencer. To do this, loosen the screw
fastening the silencer and carefully lever the silencer
out.
► Check the silencer for dirt and damage. Replace the
silencer, if required.
Do not fit the silencer yet.

Removing the Holding Circuit
► Removal and installation of the holding circuit must be carried out by authorized personnel. Read the
service manual for your placement head for more information.
Fitting the Holding Circuit and Silencer
► Correctly position the sealing disk on the holding circuit. Make sure all openings are aligned. Pay
particular attention to the centering pin.
► Insert the holding circuit. Make sure that the centering pin is positioned in the hole opposite, in the
star carrier.
► Tighten the three screws fastening the holding circuit with a torque of 0.25 Ncm.
► Do not fit the silencer yet.
DIsmantle the holding circuit
► Dismantle the holding circuit.
Unscrew the three protruding fastening screws (only
these) and then remove the holding circuit.
Seat of holding circuit
► Check the seat of the holding circuit (1) for dirt. Clean
the seat with a lint-free cloth, if required.
► Replace the holding circuit (2) with a new/cleaned
holding circuit.
► Check the sealing disk (3) for damage and replace if
necessary.
