1. Introduction
1-1 Overview
An RX-8 are a high-speed compact modular mounter that forms the kernel of the next-generation flex
modular line, and its safety, reliability, maintainability, and economic performance is improved
furthermore while succeeding the flexibility performance realized by the modular concept established in
the past.
The linear motor is used for the Y-axis as the drive system, and the machine is equipped with a P20
nozzle head (high-speed head) that is driven with an independent servomotor used in the X-axis, so that
the system realizes speeding-up and versatility.
Additionally, combination of this machine and the “JaNets,” which is a manufacturing support system,
allows you to manage/optimize a production line (that is, a production site) in a comprehensive manner,
and this assists improvement of productivity and manufacturing quality, and cost reduction due to
efficiency.
