2. Common Precautionary Items
Basic Precautions
Only a well-trained person should operate the machine.
Do not allow any untrained person to operate the machine.
Mishandling of the machine can cause a serious accident.
Before operating the machine, please read the instruction manual carefully for correct
operations.
Please keep the instruction manual in a safe place within
reach.
Follow the instructions in the instruction manual for correct handling of the machine.
Be sure to fully understand the contents of the safety instructions in the instruction
manual and follow the instructions.
Please pay special attention to the precautionary items lab
eled on the machine or
described in the instruction manual and be sure to keep them.
When the precautionary
items are ignored, it will result in personal injury or property damage (damage to the
machine).
Be sure to follow the operational instructions described in
the instruction manual.
Do not modify the machine nor use any parts other than the specied ones for the
machine. Be sure not to use the machine with its safety devices detached. Doing
otherwise may cause personal injury

Precautions before Use

If the machine is used with its cover(s) being detached, a serious accident may
occur.
Be sure to attach the covers if they are disengaged.
Make certain that no people or objects come in contact with the moving
mechanisms of the machine (GXH Series). Then, check safety and power up
the machine to start operation.
Do not start the machine unless those working in the immediate area of the
machine are aware of hazards from moving parts.
In principle, the overall operation of the machine including the button
operations on the operation panel of the machine (GXH Series) and the touch
screen must be controlled by only one person.
If operated by more than one, ensure good communication by giving loud verbal
instructions to avoid any danger that might be caused by an unexpected movement of
the machine.
Before starting the machine, check carefully that there are no people or objects such as
tools and parts around the machine before starting the machine.

Notes on Machine Operations
This machine uses energetic driving systems and high voltage to run at high
speed. This power and voltage are high enough to cause a serious injury.
To avoid this danger, respect the following guideline.
• Operate the machine with the covers being a ttached.
• Before operating the machine be sure to close the magazine door.
• Do not disengage the interlock mechanisms of the magazine door
.
• After performing setup operations with the magazine door being open, be
sure to close it securely.
The machine must be used with the covers being attached.
Each cover is provided to protect people and objects from any injuries and
damages that might be caused by any moving and high-voltage areas.
Make certain that no person or object comes in contact with the moving
mechanisms while the machine is running.
Whenever you feel danger or abnormality, immediately press the
[EMERGENCY STOP] switch of the machine (GXH series) to stop the
machine.
If the machine is kept running in abnormal condition, an accident or a
breakdown will result.

indicates that the static machine is in the "Automatic" mode (awaiting mode).

immediately stop the machine (GXH series) and turn of
f the power supply.
When the machine (GXH series) stops due to a component pickup error
, be sure to
remove the mispicked component from the feeder and start the automatic operation.
