CAUTION
Sensitive lenses
The transmitter and receiver unit lenses on the component sensor are highly sensitive.
► Make sure that you do not damage or contaminate the lens system.

Preparation
► Remove the head from the machine. For details about removing and fitting the placement
head, refer to the service manual for your machine.
Fit the head on the head mount [03056231‑xx].

Removal

► Remove the four fastening screws(2) to(5) and
then take the Z axis cover(1) off.
Installation
► Follow the removal instructions in reverse order for installation. Also observe the following
instructions:

No torque
3. Cylinder head screw with hexagon socket head

4. Cylinder head screw with hexagon socket head

Torque: 0.6Nm
5. Cylinder head screw with hexagon socket head
caps ISO4762-M2.5x4-A2-70 [03042531‑xx]
Torque: 0.6Nm
