When the tape feeder is set, if the
front hook section is separated be-
cause of interference with the adjacent
feeder, it might cause breakdown of
the vacuum nozzle or machine. Make
sure that the front hook is securely
engaged with the pin.
If the front hook section at the end of
the tape feeder is bumped, it might
cause deformation and pick-up error,
because the suppressor holding load
is not given enough allowance.
Take the greatest care not to bump the
front hook section.

Do not hit against an adjoining tape
feeder. Specially, 12 mm or more width
tape feeder needs an attention to
avoid deformation because there is a
bend in the shutter.

Unused tape feeders should be removed from the feeder car-
riage. If a tape feeder is set onto the feeder carriage and not used
for a long time during the machine operation, slack will occurs in
the tape, which might cause pick-up error.
3.2 Tape Feeder Attachment Procedure
If the machine is used with the tape feeder lifted,
it might cause machine breakdown or pick-up
error.
Mount the tape feeder securely on the feeder
carriage.
