7.1 Component Pick-up Error

7.1.2 A pick-up error always occurs

Remedy : Clean the pick-up nozzle on the chip mounter main machine, as indicated in

"Volume 4: Maintenance and Troubleshooting" in the Instruction Manual

(TCM-X series) of main machine.

If the factory is dusty or if paper taping component is often used, then the pick-up nozzle and pick-

up nozzle filter can easily become dirty.

Keep them clean.

Remedy : Wind the cover tape around correctly, as in the instruction seals.

error.

Remedy : Align the reel drive locking position with the plate spring locking position, and

attach the take-up reel socket.

cause malfunction.

7.2 Tape not fed

Remedy : Replace the suppressor.

If the cover tape is too forcibly pulled out from the suppressor (tape peeling section), it

might be deformed.

Do not pull it so forcibly, but slowly lift the suppressor and so pull the cover tape out from it.

Take the greatest care in handling the suppressor (tape peeling section).

Cause : Loosen attached cover tape

Remedy : Turn the take-up reel to tense the cover tape.

If there is any sag on the cover tape, it might cause a pick-up error or feeding error.

Cause : Tape sprocket holes do not match with the sprocket pins

Cause : Tape peeling section deformed
