Check if there is any foreign material on the reference plane of the feeder base and if
found, remove it.

3.3.4. When an Index Error Occurred
When the tape is jammed
Check if the transfer tape is jammed at the teeth of the sprocket.
Remove the jammed portion and install the tape again referring to “2.1.4 Securing

with Locker”.
When solenoid valve operates abnormally
Check if a signal is transmitted to the solenoid valve.
Check for the problem and contact our designated C/S (STS) or local agent.
Caution
If the solenoid valve is disassembled at random for
maintenance and inspection, after sales service is not applied
to it. Do not disassemble the solenoid valve at random.
When a pitch error occurs (when the cylinder stroke is insufficient)
Check if the tape feeding pitch corresponds to the pitch of the feeder. In the case of the
problem with the feeding pitch, perform setup of the pitch again referring to “2.2
Changing Transfer Pitch”.
If there is no problem with the feeding pitch, contact our designated C/S (STS) or
local agent.

3.3.5. When the vinyl is not discharged smoothly
When treating the discharge vinyl at random
When using the discharge vinyl by twisting or binding it, the vinyl may not be discharged
smoothly.
Install the tape again referring to “2.1 Installing Tape”. When installing the tape, the
discharge vinyl has no twisted or bound part.
When discharging the vinyl abnormally
Even though the discharge vinyl is installed properly, if the vinyl is discharged
abnormally, check the following.
- Reverse rotation of the discharge gear
- Spring wear or cutoff
- Damage to link part
Check for the problem and contact our designated C/S (STS) or local agent.
