Attention
The panel clamp foils are sharp. Handle with care to avoid
injury.
Attention
The panel clamp foils are fragile and bend easily. Handle with
care to avoid damage.
1. Loosen the ten flat head Phillips screws (M3x5) securing the edge clamp.
2. Gently lift up the foil clamp and verify that the foil seating surface is clean.
3. Carefully slide the foil under the foil clamp until it touches the reference edge of the clamp
base.
4. Slide the foil towards the center of the rail until it stops.
a. The foil should not overhang the ends of the clamp base.
b. The rectangular cutouts in the foil should properly align with the mating rectangular
protrusions on the clamp base. Failure to do so may cause an indentation in the foil
and give the foil edge a rippled effect once the foil clamp is tightened.
5. Install the second foil, ensuring the first foil has not moved away from the reference edge of
the clamp base.
6. Starting from the middle of the foil clamp, snug (do NOT fully tighten) the M3x5 flat head
Phillips screws. When snugging, alternate sides and work from the center out.
7. Verify that the foils have not moved away from the reference edge.
8. Fully tighten the screws with maximum torque of 0.5NM (4.4in./lb.), alternating sides and
working from the center out.
Attention
Do not overtighten the foil mounting screws. Maximum
