Maintain the component feeder table 8
: Clear the feeder area.
: Remove any loose components from the component feeder table using the vacuum cleaner.
a Use a whetstone to remove any bumps on the magnetic rail.
s Preserve the feeder area using a lint-free cloth sprayed with WD40.
: Vacuum up any loose components from the tape container and remove any unwanted stickers

d ad
hesive tape.
d Cut off the excess used tape flush with the feeder and empty the component drawer or com-
ponen
t flap on 8 mm S feeders.
: Return the feeder modules to the feeder area.
Make su
re that each feeder is in the correct location and is connected correctly. 8

: Switch the placement machine on at the main switch.

out the component trolley.

Vacuum the felt filter drawer units 8
a Remove the covers from the felt filter the drawer units.
s Use an appropriate nozzle to vacuum the felt filters.
: Check the filter
mats for dirt after cleaning them with a vacuum cleaner.
Replace them if they are very dirty.
: Replace any worn felt filters.
: Fit the covers.
: Repeat these tasks for all eight fans.

Check the filter element 40 µm 8
: Remove the protective cover from the relevant placement head.
d Loosen the screw in order to remove the casing of the filter element 40 µm.
f Check whether
the filter element is discolored.
If it is discolored, replace it with a new element.
: Fit the casing and the head cover.
: Check the filter
elements of all the placement heads.
