Grease the linear guides for the X and Y axes 10

a Turn the grease gun counter-clockwise to open.

s Pull back the grease gun plunger.
It must lock into place.

Greasing of the SIPLACE machines is to be carried out machine specific: for SIPLACE D1 / D2
and D4 machines use ISOFLEX TOPAS NCA 52, for the SIPLACE D3 use Klüberp-
lex BEM 34-132. 10

d Fill the grease gun with Klüberplex BEM 34-132 grease.

New grease guns are filled with grease. 10
10

: Turn the grease gun clockwise to close.
10
f Release the lock.
The spring force moves the plunger forward.

g Push back the ball on the vent screw to vent the grease gun.
10
Vent the grease gun after greasing each machine. 10
10
10
: Press the trigger until the grease emerges.
The grease gun is now ready for use.

Remember to grease every visible grease nipple on the X and Y axes! 10
Use the amounts of grease specified. Too much or too
little grease can damage the bearing. 10

X axis 10
a Place the grease gun (X axis with lifting limiter), filled with Klüberplex BEM 34-132, straight on
the fun
nel-shaped grease nipple.
: Apply one squeeze of the grease
gun (approx. 0.13 cm

per squeeze).

If the grease emerges from the grease nipple, then either the bearing is already full or the grease
nipple is not sealing correctly. In the latter case, use a new grease nipple. 10

: Move the X-axis head plate approx. 30 cm to distribute the grease.
: Repeat the pressing and moving process two more times. This ensu
res that the right amount
of grease is applied.
: Use a cloth to remove any excess grease from on and around the grease nipple.
: Grease the other grease nipples on the X axis in the same way.

Y axis 10
s Place the grease gun (Y axis), filled with
Klüberplex BEM 34-132, straight onto the conical
grease nipple.
: Apply one squeeze of the grease
gun. (approx. 0.4 cm

per squeeze)

If the grease emerges from the grease nipple, then either the bearing is already full or the grease
nipple is not sealing correctly. In the latter case, use a new grease nipple. 10

: Move the gantry approx. 30 cm to distribute the grease.
: Repeat the pressing and moving process two more times. This ensu
res that the right amount
of grease is applied.
: Use a cloth to remove any excess grease from on and around the grease nipple.
: Grease the other grease nipples on the Y axis in the same way.

: Repeat the greasing process on all linear guides.
