Star brake 9
: Check the sta
r brake for damage and to ensure that it is working correctly.

a Wipe the star brake using a dry, lint-free cloth. Make sure that you remove all grease residues.
: Fill each of the three small holes
in the star brake with ISOFLEX TOPAS NCA 52.
s Remove excess grease with a lint-free cloth.

: Apply a thin film of grease to the surface of the star brake.

Distributor seat 9
d Clean the distributor seat with a cottonwool bud moistened with ethyl alcohol.

Make sure that you do not push dirt into the vacuum opening with the cottonwool bud. 9

Valve adjustment drives 9
a Clean the valve adjustment drives and the gap betwee
n the disk and the motor bracket with a
dry lint-free cloth.
s Clean the ball bearing with a dry lint-free cloth.
: Check that
the
ball bearing is working correctly.
: Remove any visible dirt.

Turning station 9
d Wipe the black O-ring of the turning station with a lint-free cloth moistened with ethyl alcohol.
: Check the O-
rin
g for damage. Replace, if required.
: Check the toothe
d belt for damage, Replace, if required.

The turning station can be cleaned while still installed using a cottonwool bud moistened with ethyl
alcohol. 9

f Press the friction wheel of the turning station against the spring.
f Clean the stop surfaces using a cottonwoo
l bud moistened with ethyl alcohol.

Assembly 9
: Insert the two O-rings into the back part of head.
: Carefully insert the distributor
into it
s seat.

The O-rings must not be seated on the distributor, otherwise they may be damaged. 9

: Turn the placement star half a step (approx. 15° - 30°), fit the front part of the head and screw
tight.
: Attach the ribbon cables to the ap
propriate connectors.
9
: Insert cleaned or new sleeves into the segments.
: Insert cleaned or new valve plungers into the valve casings.
