1 Rev = 4000 Counts
1 Rev = 22T x 5mm = 110mm
Pulley Ratio = 76T/22T = 1 : 3.45
110mm / 3.45 = 31.8mm

accurate repeatable home position-
ing in the camera Y axis.
Board Stop In Through
Beam Opto
NextMove X2
Dig IN 23
Detects when the board stop is low-
ered and is used to prevent a colli-
sion with the rails should the return
spring fail whilst the camera is trav-
eling over them.

Opto
NextMove X2
Dig IN 22
Detects a board present at the board
stop during board load. Its sensitiv-
ity must be set such that it does not
detect tooling underneath it with the
rising table at board load height.

SEQUENCES
Homing Sequence Each camera axis homes when the machine initializes (power-up or exit diag-
nostics).
The respective axis drives towards its home sensor until its vane is detected, the
motor reverses direction until the home sensor clears the vane and stops when
the next encoder index pulse is reached.
The sequence starts by driving the Y axis into its respective home sensor
followed by the X axis completing its home routine. See the Camera X Axis and
Camera Y Axis figures for details of the X and Y home sequences and the
relationship between the encoder and axis movement.
