Select the
Maximum position
from the menu and press the RETURN key. The axis move to the current,
minimum position. Whenever the "Minimum position" menu item is activated, the selected axis will advance
by 200 counts. When the axis reaches the limit switch, an error will be displayed.
●
Manually move the axis away from the limit switch position.
●
Exit from the menu by pressing the ESC key.
●
Select the
Display position
menu option to view the positions and press the RETURN key.
The "Show position" menu is opened. The data of the minimum and maximum positions and the limit
switch positions are displayed and can be edited, if required.
NOTE
The minimum positions must be greater than the respective limit switch position, and the maximum posi-
tion must be smaller than the respective limit switch position.
NOTE
If the values of the minimum and maximum positions of the traversing paths are to be changed, they can
be saved to the "REAL.MA" file by way of the menu option
File manager

Store MA-file
on the main
menu.

Press the ESC key four times to return to the SITEST main menu.
2.2 Functions of the Motor Control Board
The options of the "Motor contr. board" menu are used for testing the head functions. In the normal case, the
test is performed using the "Continuous run" function.

From the main menu select the
Motor contr. board
option and press the RETURN key. The "Motor contr.
board" menu is displayed on the screen.

Overview of the Functions:

Step star axis cycling the revolver head so that it advances by one segment

Screwdriver 1 to open/close the sealing piston in the segment of the pick-up station
-
Screwdriver 2 to open/close the sealing piston in the segment of the rejecting station
-
Actuate dp 1 to swivel dp1-drive toward segment
-
Actuate dp 2 to swivel dp2-drive toward segment
-
Centering no measur. to close jaws of centering station without CRDL-testing procedure
-
Centering with meas. this function is not used in this software version
-
Air blow placement to switch the "blow air" supply at the pick-up station on/off
(serves to adjust the "blow air" in the placement circuit)

Air blow reject to switch the "blow air" supply at the reject station on/off
(serves to adjust the "blow air" in the rejecting circuit)
-
Continuous run to perform the continuous run using one of the functions of the motor control board

Placement circuit Menu for testing the head functions in the placement circuit

In order to cycle the revolver head so that it advances by one segment, select the

If you wish to execute a single function, select the desired function and press the RETURN key.
The selected function is executed.

If you wish to carry out a continuous run by using one of the functions of the motor control board, select the
menu option
Continuous run
and press the RETURN key.
The "Continuous run" is now displayed on the screen.
●
Select the desired function and press the RETURN key. The continuous run is executed for the selected
function until it is terminated by pressing the ESC key.
●
Press the ESC key twice to return to the SITEST main menu.

2.3 Functions
Using the options of the "Functions" menu it is possible, among others, to test conveyor and component table
functions and to determine the x and y-coordinates for every compartment of the nozzle changer. In the
following, only those functions are described that are used for adjusting or testing the machine. Calibration of
the nozzle changer and the coplanarity laser module are described in chapter 4 "Calibration Functions" of this
manual.

Select the Functions option from the main menu and press the RETURN key.
The " Functions" menu is displayed on the screen.

Nozzle changer Menu for calibrating the RV and IC nozzle changers

NOTE
If gantry 2 of a SIPLACE 80S is active (MC-AKTIV: 2), only the "Component table" and "Nozzle changer"
menu items can be selected. If SIPLACE 80 F is active, only "Component table 3" can be selected, "Compo-
nent table 1", the V24 cable is to be plugged into a different socket beforehand.
