Tr. 120 no positioning to determine the position of the measuring hold in the setting gauge and to save the
values determined as the pick-up position of track 120
(The PCB camera must first be taught over measuring hole of the setting gauge).
-

I
(on SIPLACE 80S only possible with gantry 1)
●
Select the
Machine zero-point
function, press the RETURN key and the START button.
The calibration of the machine zero point is performed.
●
Press the ESC key twice to return to the SITEST main menu.
●
Save the data of the calibrated machine zero point using the
File Manager
->
Store MA-file
menu function
(see section 1.3).
3.6 Measuring the Pick-Up Positions of Tracks
1 and 120
NOTE
Verify that the calibration data for the component camera, PCB camera, PCB/component camera offset and
the machine zero point have already been determined.
●
Place the setting gauge onto track 1 or 120 of the component table to be measured.
NOTE
Check the component table beforehand for any unevenness or contamination.
●
From the main menu select the
Gantry positions
option and press the RETURN key.
The "Gantry positions" menu is displayed on the screen.
●
From the "Gantry positions" menu select the
Calibrate
option and press the RETURN key. The "Calibrate"
menu is displayed on the screen.
●
Depending on the position of the setting gauge on the component table, select function
Track 1
or
Track
120
, press the RETURN key and the START button. The calibration of the selected track is performed.
●
Proceed in the same way for the other track.
NOTE
The feeder location "1" (or "2" where a WPC is installed) of the SIPLACE 80F system cannot be measured
automatically owing to the fact that the tracks of this feeder location cannot be approached by the PCB
camera on account of the traversing range of the gantry being too small.
●
Press the ESC key twice to return to the SITEST main menu.

NOTE
Verify that the calibration data for the PCB camera, PCB/component camera offset and the machine zero
point have already been determined.
●
Load a PCB with a light surface into the center conveyor using the Functions --> Conveyor --> PCB in to
stopper menu options.
●
Press the ESC key repeatedly until only the SITEST main menu is displayed.
●
From the main menu select the Gantry positions option and press the RETURN key.
The "Gantry positions" menu is displayed on the screen.
●
Select the Calibrate menu item and press the RETURN key.
The "Calibrate" menu is displayed on the screen.
●
Select the Fixed PCB corner I function, press the RETURN key and the START button.
The PCB camera moves over the position of the PCB reference corner I.
The monitor switches to the PCB camera.
●
Teach the PCB reference corner position
I
using the cursor keys
↑↓ ← →
.
(For details on the procedure for traversing the gantry during teaching, see section 0.4.1).
●
Terminate the teaching operation by pressing the ESC key.
The monitor switches back to the normal program mode, and the current position is adopted as the refe-
rence corner position.
●
Press the ESC key twice to return to the SITEST main menu.
●
Transport the PCB into the output conveyor using the Functions --> Conveyor --> PCB out menu
options.
●
Press the ESC key twice to return to the SITEST main menu.
NOTE
Only
the values for "Zero point cor. value", "Minimal position" and "Maximal position" that were modified in
the "Positions" input menu can be saved with the aid of the main menu option File Manager --> Store
MA-file. All other modified axis data cannot
be saved. They will be reset to the original values upon exiting
from the SITEST program
.
