0.4 Program Operation
The SITEST program is a menu-controlled program in which the keys and combination of keys have the
following functions.
-
Cursor keys serve to move the cursor bar within the active menu, to change the positioning path
↑ ↓ ← →
during the dynamic adjustment of the axes, and to move the gantry when the teach
functions are activated.
-
RETURN key serves to confirm a selection, to start up functions, to open submenus and to
accept entries (see note below).
-
ESC key serves to terminate a menu or a function.
After the ESC key has been pressed, the program returns to the higher-level menu.
-
Page down key
↓
changeover to error display and exiting from the error display screen
-
ALT+0 switches the monitor to the IC-camera of SIPLACE 80F
-
ALT+7 switches the monitor to the component camera of the active gantry
-
ALT+8 switches the monitor to the PCB camera of the active gantry
-
ALT+ switches the monitor to the Flip-Chip-Camera of SIPLACE 80F
-
ALT+9 switches the monitor back to the normal program mode
-
Numeric keys serve to change the step width during movement of the gantry using cursor
keys when the teach functions are activated
-
START button serves to turn on the control unit
(at input/output belt)
NOTE
If a value is changed or newly entered in an input menu, the entry must
be confirmed by pressing the
RETURN key
or the cursor key
↓
prior to exiting from the input menu as otherwise this new value will not
be accepted.
0.4.1 Traversing the Gantry With the Teach Function Activated
The teach function is automatically activated if, for example, the Teach position function is selected on the
"Teach position" submenu of the "Vision system" menu (see section 3.1.2).
●
If you wish to change the step size for traversing the gantry, actuate one of the number keys 0 through 9,
with the "0" key representing the smallest and the "9" key the largest step size.
●
To move the gantry actuate the cursor keys
↑ ↓ ← →
.
The direction arrows on the cursor keys correspond to the gantry’s direction of travel as seen from a posi-
tion in front of the machine viewing into the direction of travel.
