Inject the grease to the guide.
1. Change the grease gun tip to the bend type
nozzle.
2. Inject the prescribed grease (NSL) to the
grease nipple of the guide (2 positions) until
the grease seep out from the gap.

Spread the grease by moving the
squeegee unit back and forth for several
times, grabbing its handle.

Wipe away the excess grease from the
ball screws and the both ends of the
guides.

Reattach the machine covers to their
original positions.
1. Return machine safety cover, maintenance
cover and lower cover to their original
positions.
2. Reattach the machine rear cover.
Standard type:
Reattach the machine rear cover to its original
position using Phillips screwdriver.
With automatic mask exchange unit:
Close upper rear cover.

3.5 SZ-axis
This section describes the procedures for cleaning and lubricating the up and down axis (SZ-axis) of YSP10
squeegee head.
3.5.1 Cleaning and lubricating SZ-axis

Remove the squeegee and mask.

1. Press the emergency stop button and open
machine safety cover.
2. Move the squeegee unit to front side,
grabbing its handle.
3. Rotate the squeegee mounting knob
counterclockwise and remove it from
squeegee holder.
4. Press the [Mask Clamp] button on [Unit] -
[Mask] screen, then the mask clamp (4
positions) are released.
5. Pull out the mask frontward.

CAUTION
The squeegee and mask should always be removed. If not,
they may clash to the SZ-axis upon Step4.

Remove the SZ-axis front covers.
Loosen the 5 mounting screws (3 screws from
above and 2 from bottom) on the SZ-axis front
cover using Phillips screwdriver and remove the
cover.

Clean the underside of SZ-axis guide (2
positions) by wiping away the grease or
soiling using a lint-free cloth.

NOTE
Carefully wipe the guide grooves. Additionally, make sure
that any dirt is not produced.

Lower the SZ-axis downmost.
1. Press the [Move Axes] button on [Unit] -
[Conveyor] screen to open "SY/SZ" screen.
2. The SZ-axis brake is released by pressing its
[brake] button, and the SZ-axis lowers to its
downmost.

Clean the upperside of SZ-axis guide (2
positions) and shaft guides (2 positions)
by wiping away the grease or soiling
using a lint-free cloth.

NOTE
Carefully wipe the guide grooves. Additionally, make sure
