Error ID Item Description
040801 Comp. Place. (Z) Axis Communication error was detected.
Communication
(Cause 1) Self-Diagnostics Error Message
(Remedy 1) Zero all axes and re-start the operation.
When the machine cannot be set to its normal condition, consult our service
personnel for the remedy.
050101 Table-X Axis Origin Encoder origin was not detected.
(Cause 1) The encoder section of the motor may be defective or the encoder cable may be
broken.
(Remedy 1) Turn off the power and check for looseness of the connector section for the signal
cable.
If the error is not canceled yet after this check operation, the broken signal cable
or the motor may be defective. Consult our service personnel for the remedy.
050102 Table-X Axis Origin Origin sensor (slide) was not detected.
(Cause 1) The sensor may be defective or the cable may be broken.
(Remedy 1) Press the [RETURN] button to cancel the error display and then the [ALL] button
entitled "ZERO".
If the error cannot be canceled after the zeroing operation, it is required to replace
the sensor or the sensor cable with a new one. Consult our service personnel for
details.
050103 Table-X Axis Origin Origin sensor (slide) and Limit error has been detected.
050104 Table-X Axis Origin Feedback value is indefinite.

Error ID Item Description
050401 Table-X Axis Limit (+) Limit error has been detected.
050402 Table-X Axis Limit (-) Limit error has been detected.
(Cause 1) An optical beam of the sensor is shielded.
(Cause 2) Dirt adheres to the sensor and the optical beam is shielded.
(Remedy 1) Turn off the power supply and move the X/Y table to the position where operations
can be performed more easily.
Re-attach the light shield plate and the sensor securely (remove the looseness).
Re-supply power to the machine and perform the zeroing operation.
(Remedy 2) Wipe off dirt on the sensor and re-perform the zeroing operation.
