1,2 fixture points for vacuum pump

► Connect the vacuum pump [03069679-xx] to the car-

riage [03077380-xx] as shown in the photo.

► Fix the vacuum pump to the carriage (at positions (1)

and (2) and on the opposite side). Use the type

ISO4762-M5x30-A2-70 screws [03042565-xx] for

this.

2, 3 Guiding the power cable upwards

► Fit the two cable clamps onto the power cable.

► Fix the two cable clamps to position 1. In each case,

place a washer between the cable clamp

[00386753-xx] and the screw (ISO4762-M4x8-A2-70)

[03042551-xx].

► Run the power cable upwards (2) and over the

pump (3).

► Remove the two screws (1).

► Remove the plate (2).

The electrical connection unit is installed in the location 2

area.

► Remove the cover from the power supply.

The plate is clipped into the machine frame. Take

hold of the loop (1) and pull it out.

► On machines from N001, remove the cover (2) from

the machine base.

► The vacuum pump connection unit [03079949-xx] is

fitted to a mounting rail. Use the screws provided to

fix the vacuum pump connection unit to the two posi-

tions shown here (1).

► After installing the pump, connect the cable

[03079997-xx] for the vacuum pump power supply to

terminal X106 of the connection unit (1).

► Connect the cable [03087337-xx] upgrade kit (cable:

vacuum pump connection unit) between X102 for the

transformer unit and X105 for the vacuum pump con-

nection unit (2).

► Connect the cable [03072544-xx] (cable: vacuum

pump control), which is already in the machine, to

X103 for the connection unit (3).
