2.5.7 Safety instructions for removing nozzles from Collect&Place heads
CAUTION
RISK OF INJURY TO FINGERS BY SHARP NOZZLES 2
Do not remove the nozzles in the pick-up/placement position (item 2).
The procedure for removing nozzles manually from the sleeve is as follows:
→ Pace the sleeve from which the nozzle is to be removed to the removal point (item 1).
→ Remove the nozzle from the sleeve here.

→ Never reach down into the used tape channel (item 1) from above with bare hands, even if
the machine is switched off.
→ Similarly, even when the machine is switched off, do not reach up from below with bare hands
into the ejection opening of the tape cutter (item 2), e.g. to remove waste used tape.
→ To remove waste used tape, it is essential to switch the machine off first and put on very sub-
stantial protective gloves, as the tape cutter bars are extremely sharp.
