The component placement error preventing function, production support system is
provided: this function prevents a component placement error from occurring due to a
feeder-setting mistake. production support system is also a traceability function, and this
allows you to analyze the component production history and to track the production status.
Since a placement monitor is added, the camera installed in the head section can
photograph the status of component pickup/placement, thereby enabling simplified
inspection.
Improvement of Versatility
An electric exchange trolley and mechanical exchange trolley can be used together for
each feeder bank. (Refer to a chapter 6-1. A list of feeder bank specifications, for
specifications of the feeder banks that can be used together.)
Placement of 0402 components with a laser align sensor (LNC60/61) is supported as
standard.
Employing a new type of lighting system resulted in enhancing both recognizing the
marks on the flexible PWBs and the same via the pattern matching function. The function
of recognizing the area fiducial marks also made it possible to place a multiple number of
components upon a set of mark corrections.
As the board size, 410 mm360 mm, 510 mm×360 mm and 610 mm×560 mm are
supported. When you add an option for a longer-sized board to the mounter, it supports
up to 800 mm as the X-dimension.
A bad mark indicating a defective circuit can be detected with an OCC camera or a
dedicated bad mark reader (option). Information on a bad mark read with the IN side
station is conveyed to the OUT side station, and this shortens the time for recognizing a
bad mark.
For multi-circuit boards, the bad mark recognition time can be omitted by a function that
specifies a circuit to place.
The area bad mark recognizing function allows the mounter to skip placement of a
component in the particular area of a board.
A LNC60/61 head can recognize up to □ 33.5 mm component.
The OCC image is “superimposed” on the screen, so you can perform a teaching
operation easily just by touching the desired direction pointer.
High Flexibility
Program data created with a conventional CX, FX or KE-series mounter can be loaded to
these mounters.
An idle carryout can be operated at a state of freeing the servo motors for heads and X/Y
axis.
Combination with the Production support system allows you to create a production line
including an existing mounter model and to create a production program for the entire line
with an Production support system client.

The touch panel resulted in making it possible to simplify the key-in operations.
Provided with an option of feeder position indicator (FPI), the stocked components run out
or warns that the number of the remaining components is below the regulated number
with lighting the corresponding LED. This feature indicates which feeder is to be replaced.

When used languages (Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean) can be switched in real
time. (Korean is partially supported like the HELP functions written in English.)
Attachment of a USB port allows this mounter to use an external USB device. The
program can be shifted and backed up to an external recording unit.
To secure the preparation for PWB production, the “Plan Support” function, which displays
the required operations step by step, is added to this mounter.
High Serviceability
The serviceability has been enhanced by displaying the screens of absorption
frequencies per nozzle and of X/Y axis traveling distances to call a checking time, in
addition to the hour meter (energized hours).
Protecting the passwords has hierarchically stratified the maintenance levels to increase a
degree of freedom in setting the machines. For the troubleshooting by operators, the
HELP functions were fulfilled.
Use of the “Self-diagnosis function” allows you to check the communication status of each
control board and check to see if the main parts are not stained.
