LEAD POSITION (LEAD ARRAY DIRECTION) WAS
OUT OF TOLERANCE.
(Cause 1) There is a bend in the latitudinal direction of the lead.
(Cause 2) The size of the component is not correct.
(Cause 3) The following parameters are set wrong at the "CMPNT LIBRARY [SHAPE]" dis-
plays.

LIBRARY [CONTROL]" display.
Wrong parameters are set in the "LEAD POS (LATL DIR) DETN" and "LEAD POS
(LATL DIR) TOL" data boxes at the "CMPNT LIBRARY [RECOG]" display.
(Cause 4) The size of the nozzle is not correct.
(A wrong parameter is set in the "NOZZLE LENGTH" data box at the "NOZZLE
TYPE DATA" display for the selected nozzle.)
(Reset Procedure in the case of Causes 1, 2, 3 and 4)
Reset Procedure
(1) Press the [ZERO] button to return all the axes to their original positions.
(2) To handle the objective component as a good one although the data is correct but some of the
actual leads are bent, set "MANUAL" in the "RECOG DATA SET" data box and "ENBL
(MNL)" in the "LEAD POS (LATL DIR) DETN" data box to specify a proper value in the
"LEAD POS (LATL DIR) TOL" data box. (Change of Criteria)
(3) Re-start.
(4) If the device can’t be re-started, contact our service personnel.

(Cause 1) The size of the component is not correct.
Wrong parameters are set as the extended data related to "# OF LEADS" of "LEAD
DATA" at the "CMPNT LIBRARY [SHAPE]" display.
[At least one side of the mold should have two or more leads. No parameters should be
set in the "# OF MISSING LEADS" data boxes at the "EXTENDED SETTING"
display.]
Wrong parameters are set in the "LEAD GROUP DATA" data fields at the "CMPNT
LIBRARY [SHAPE]" display.
[At least one side of the mold should have two or more leads. The leads should belong
to the same group and no parameters should be set in the "# OF MISSING LEADS"
data boxes at the "EXTENDED SETTING" display.]

(Cause 1) Some leads are missing.
(Cause 2) The size of the component is not correct.
Wrong parameters are set at the "CMPNT LIBRARY [SHAPE]" displays.
Wrong parameters are set for "LEAD TYPE DATA" and "LEAD GROUP DATA" at
the "CMPNT LIBRARY [SHAPE]" display.
(Cause 3) A clear image of the component cannot be captured.
(Reset Procedure in the case of Causes 1, 2 and 3)
Reset Procedure
(1) Press the [ZERO] button to return all the axes to their original positions.
(2) When the registered leads are captured by the camera and part of the nozzle covers some of
the captured leads, register the covered leads as missing ones (regarding them as non-objec-
tive ones for detection), using "EXTENDED SETTING" for the flat-packaged components
and "LEAD GROUP DATA" for the deform (leaded) components.
(3) When a clear image of the leads cannot be captured (unevenness, etc.), "BACK LTG." must
be set in the "LTG MODE" data box in place of "FRONT LTG.".
(4) Set "MANUAL (FRONT LTG)" in the "LTG MODE" data box and change the parameters in
the "LTG PATT" and "BRT" data boxes at the "CMPNT LIBRARY [RECOG]" display such
that an image of the leads can be captured more evenly.
(5) Re-start.
(6) If the device can’t be re-started, contact our service personnel.
