1. Remove the following cover from the head.
2. Remove the collar and spring coil from all the syringes.
3. Remove the reference pin (thermal expansion mark) from the rotary holder.

4. Remove the syringe pusher with the 5.0 mm spanner (PB 3751*) and 4.0 mm spanner
(PB9769*). Firstly, set the 5.0 mm spanner on the pusher as shown in the following
photo.
5. Next, set the 4.0 mm spanner (PB9769*) on the syringe as shown in the following
photo.
6. Fix the upper 5.0 mm spanner by hand and turn the lower 4.0 mm spanner clockwise
(as viewed from above the head) to remove the pusher.
7. Remove the syringe gear from the syringe.
Caution!
The H12HS syringe gear is a scissors gear. When removing the gear, be
careful not to lose the spring from between the gears.
