1. Remove the following cover from the head.
2. Remove the collar and spring coil from all the syringes.
3. Remove the reference pin (thermal expansion mark) from the rotary holder.

4. Remove the syringe pusher with the 5.0 mm spanner (PB 3751*) and 4.0 mm spanner
(PB9769*). Firstly, set the 5.0 mm spanner on the pusher as shown in the following
photo.
5. Next, set the 4.0 mm spanner (PB9769*) on the syringe as shown in the following
photo.
6. Fix the upper 5.0 mm spanner by hand and turn the lower 4.0 mm spanner clockwise
(as viewed from above the head) to remove the pusher.
7. Remove the syringe gear from the syringe.
Caution!
The H12HS syringe gear is a scissors gear. When removing the gear, be
careful not to lose the spring from between the gears.

8. Use the syringe pin extraction jig （AA1WE0*） to remove the pin from the syringe.
Note: This syringe pin extraction jig (AA1WE0*)
is also used for the H12S head.
Caution!
If the H08 syringe pin extraction jig
（
AA75901*
）
is used instead of the H12
syringe pin extraction jig
（
AA1WE0*
）
it is not possible to fully extract the
pin. Be sure to use the H12 syringe pin extraction jig.
9. Remove the bearing and spring from the syringe.
10. After removing the syringe from the rotary holder, clean the inside of the rotary holder.
Note: Use an air gun or cloth to clean the inside of the rotary holder.
11. Prepare the new syringe（AA65D04）.
Note:
If the scissors gear or inner spring is damaged, prepare a new scissors gear
or spring as required.
