8.7 SITEST – new functions
NOTE
A detailed description of the new SITEST functions can be found in the software instructions for
SITEST 504 and the SITEST online Help system. 8
The following modifications have been made for version 504 of the software: 8
– Depending on the machine configuration being used, it is possible to activate and deactivate
the live image for the RV, IC and FC cameras.
– Firmware download: The new subsystems are: Twin Head (Seg1, Seg2), Twin Head Z and DP
axes (Seg1, Seg2), I/O modules, PCB-RV camera, IC/FC camera.
– Machine configuration: A 12-nozzle head, a 6-nozzle head, or a Twin Head can be configured
on Gantry 1. The following cameras and nozzle changers can also be configured for each of
the head types.

RV12 3-row 8
a. FOV= field of view (MFOV measurement): Several sections are recorded (each
section is a FOV) and combined to form a whole.
b. DCA = direct chip access.

– Calibrating heads and cameras: The dialog box "All heads and cameras" allows you to select
the calibration functions for each processing area.
– Heads and mapping: The "Heads and mapping" dialog box can now be used to select the
mapping width for the new or old mapping plate (Abschnitt 8.7.1).
– Conveyor edges. The correction values for the width adjustment of the conveyor are
determined.
– Teaching the gantry: Move to machine positions with the PCB camera.
– Gantry continuous run: A continuous run is carried out with the X and Y axes simultaneously.
– Gantry - Axis functions: The travel range is determined automatically for the selected axis; the
limit switch positions as well as the minimum and maximum travel range are then displayed
and transferred to the axis.
– Teach RV head: Move to machine positions with the sleeve of the RV head.
– RV head - RV head and camera: The head offset is calibrated (offset between PCB and RV
camera).
– Calibrate RV camera: The RV camera is calibrated.
– Twin Head:
– Functions for supporting the Twin Head
– Axis functions for supporting the Twin Head
– Head board for supporting the Twin Head
– IC camera, FC camera
–Calibration
– TH mapping
– Nozzle changer head functions, magazine functions
– Conveyor width

– MTC - Functions:
– Both lifting axes can be moved to the service position.
– Both feed axes can be moved to the service position.
– MTC - Tower functions:
– Production data: The level change and operating hours parameters are displayed.
–MTC - Axes:
– Machine data – Positions: Positions with feed axes. The "Zero point correction" parameter
has been replaced by zero point correction for cassette 1, zero point correction for cassette
2, zero point correction for cassette 3 and zero point correction for cassette 4
– Zero point correction for cassette 5 (only shown for Tower 1 / MTC2)
– The following parameter has been extended: Service position
– Positions with lifting axis – New parameters Refill position, cassette 5 (only shown for Tower
1 / MTC2), transfer position for cassette 5 (only shown for Tower 1 / MTC2), service position
– Machine data – Positioning data
– Positioning data with feed axis – the following parameter has been extended: Removal
speed
– Default values with feed axis – the following parameter has been extended: Default removal
speed
– MTC - Settings
– Teach zero point with feed axis: As of MTC2 (but also with MTC1 -> firmware update), the
zero point correction of the feed axis must be taught for each cassette.
– The checking of the zero point (cassette 1) for all other cassettes that has been carried out
until now is no longer required.
– MTC - Inputs/outputs 1/2
– The following new inputs have been taken into consideration: Input byte 3 / bit 4 = "Extra
high waffle pack tray" (only MTC2/Tower1), input byte 3 / bit 5 = "Lifting axis belt
monitoring", input byte 3 / bit 6 = "Battery voltage OK"
