(3) Replenish the solvent tank with additional industrial alcohol, using the
replenishment container.
WARNING
To avoid solvent spills, be sure to use the
replenishment container equipped with a nozzle.
If you have spilt solvent by mistake, clean it up
with a rag as soon as possible.
After cleaning up the spilt solvent, conrm that it
has dried completely and enough ventilation is
provided. After that, turn on the power switch of
the machine.
Note
The solvent tank must be lled up to the "Max." line with industrial
alcohol. (Approx. 2,000 ml or less)
If you ll the tank beyond the "Max." line, alcohol will overow and drip
out of the tank, down to the oor.

(4) After the replenishment of industrial alcohol, attach the internal lid of the
solvent tank and tighten the cap securely.
Notice
Do not forget to put the internal lid back in place.
WARNING
When the cap is loose, the internal lid may blow off,
causing the industrial alcohol to drip out. The spill
may also cause a re.
Tighten the cap of the tank securely.
Note
If air enters the tube running between the solvent tank and the discharge nozzle,
the cleaning solvent may not be discharged soon.
In this case, discharge a little amount of alcohol to let the air escape, using the

4.5 Checking of Industrial Alcohol Hose Joints
Check for industrial alcohol leakage from the hose (including the joints) running
between the solvent tank and the cleaning nozzle.
Reference
Refer to "1.3.2.8 Cleaning" for the Check position.
Check the following
Industrial Alcohol Leakage
Loosened or Deteriorated Hose Joints and Gaskets
Cracks or Any Other Deterioration in Hose
Be sure to always perform this checking before starting the operation of the
machine and after completing a setup operation.
CAUTION
Industrial alcohol leaks are likely to cause res.
•
Whenever an industrial alcohol leakage is found, turn
off the power switch of the machine immediately.
•
When it is impossible to determine the cause of a leak
or to repair a leak, contact the marketing department
or sales agency of Hitachi High-Technologies.
•
It may be difcult to detect a leakage because
industrial alcohol is a volatile liquid.
Be sure to carefully conrm that there are no traces of
leaks around joints, etc.
