: Never use alcohol for cleaning purposes when working in the vicinity of a naked flame
or fire.
: Never spray lubricants or cleaning agents from aerosol cans in the vicinity of a naked
flame or fire.
: Do NOT smoke.
: Always wear safety goggles and gloves when using concentrated ethyl alcohol to
clean modules.
: If ethyl alcohol is accidentally sprayed in the eyes, immediately flush the eyes with
plenty of water.
: Operation of the MTC outside the SIPLACE placement machine is expressly prohib-
ited. There is a risk of severe injury and/or considerable damage to equipment if these
instructions are not followed.

2.1.2 Basic rules during maintenance work
CAUTION NEVER use compressed air to clean inside the placement machine’s
modules. 2
Enter the maintenance work performed in the maintenance plan. We recommend that you adhere
to the order in which maintenance work is performed. 2
To save time while cleaning, perform the maintenance work on the SIPLACE at the same time as
the cleaning, complying with the safety instructions in the process. 2

2.2 Everything needed for maintenance
The following list of materials contains all the tools, equipment and materials required for main-
taining the MTC. 2

Apply all lubricants sparingly and exactly where they are needed. 2
