: Stop the placement process of the placement machine.
: Move both towers in the refill position cassette 1 using the MTC menu.
: Open the protective cover.of the placement machine.

Check the cassettes 2
a Check each cassette to see if the leaf springs of the WTC interlock are against the side wall of
the cassette.
If they are not, either the WTC is not properly engaged or the leaf springs are faulty.

Use of cassettes with faulty leaf springs is prohibited. Faulty leaf springs must be exchanged. 2

Check the WTCs 2
s Check the WTCs for breaking (broken handles and handle sleeves, too), for loose or protruding
reinforcing strips and leaf springs and for a defect waffle pack tray interlock (see illustration).

Defect WTC are not to be used and must be replaced. Don’t use WTCs which are obvious tighter
to push into the cassette or which are not to insert correctly into the waffle pack tray (defect be-
cause of warp). 2

: Close the protective cover.
: Exit the refilling position.
: Press the Start button.
