You will need the following consumables for the annual maintenance work: 2
–WD40
Grease gun
Grease INTERFLON FIN GREASE MP 2/3
:
: Stop the placement process of the placement machine.
: Move both towers into the transport position using the MTC menu.
: Move the feed axes into service position.
: Open the protective cover.of the placement machine.

2.8.1 Oiling the drivers
a Remove the two service caps in the belt covers of the feed axes by opening the knurled head
screws.
s Moisten the drivers mechanism with WD40.
a Fasten the two service caps with the knurled head screws.

Pay attention to the crash light barriers in the process (see illustration on the left). 2

: Close the protective cover.
: Exit the service position.
: Press the Start button.

Preparing the grease gun 2

The grease guns can be used with 400g cartridges or with 500g loose grease. They have stepless
piston fixation. Permanent spring-loading applies pressure to the grease cartridge, so that a con-
tinuous supply of grease is guaranteed to the gun head. The grease gun (1) is supplied with a rub-
ber tan hose (2) and a nozzle tube (3), each with a R1/8" connection thread. The nozzle tube (3)
is not required for WPC maintenance. 2

Screw the rubber tank hose provided onto the threaded connector at the head of the grease
gun.
Tighten the nut on the rubber tank hose with a 17 mm open-ended wrench.

Turn the filling tube anticlockwise to unscrew it from the gun head.
