9-3. Replacing the Digital Pressure Switch (Negative Pressure)
1) Make sure that the vacuum pump is not functioning.
2) Remove the screws (2 locations) to open the cover SB_A (open/close cover).
3) Disconnect φ6-air tube and connector from the digital pressure switch.
4) Detach the digital pressure switch with the fixing
resin on the back of the bank pressure bracket C
kept pushed.
5) When mounting a new vacuum meter,
reassemble the components in the reverse order
of disassembly.

9-3-1. Adjusting the Digital Pressure Switch (Negative Pressure)
After the digital pressure switch has been replaced, make the setting as shown below.
Threshold value of pressure switch: 60.0kPa
Hysteresis: 0.50kPa
Display color mode: Green when the pressure switch is turned OFF.
Operation mode: Hysteresis mode
Pressure switch output form: Normally open
(Turned ON when the value is the threshold value or more.)
Response time: 2.5ms or less
Auto preset setting: Manual setting
Follow the steps to make the setting.

button pressed for 2 sec. or longer. The display will become . (The
operation enters the display color setting mode.)

(When the switch is turned ON, this is displayed in green.)

operation enters the hysteresis setting mode.)

The reference replacement timing for the consumable parts listed below is one year after starting of
the operation. Replace or clean the consumable parts while referring to the procedure below. All
parts that need to be replaced are included in the consumable part set (part No. 40068178).

<Preparations for replacement work>
1) Make sure that the vacuum pump c is not operated.
(Great care should be taken since the vacuum pump is hot immediately after it has been
stopped.)
2) Open the cover of the electrical component unit.

3) Disconnect the air tubes from the vacuum pump. Remove the pump support d with an Allen
wrench.
4) Pull out the vacuum pump from the main unit. (Pay special attention to the cables when pulling
out the vacuum pump.)
