3.2 Converting the machine zero point

Check if the new machine zero point is
correctly configured for your machine.
1. TX Z = 0
for SIPLACE TX1 V2
and SIPLACE TX2 V2
2. TX Z = +2
for SIPLACE TX2i V2
The value for your machine must be located
on top.
If the machine zero point does not match the
machine type, proceed as follows:
Remove the two screws(3) (ISO8734
M5x18) and lift off the rail(4).
Rotate the rail by 180° and refit it.

Fasten the new machine zero point(1)
with two screws (Loctite243).
If possible, use new screws.

3.3.1 Converting the Y axis buffer

Remove the two buffers(1).
Fig.15: Fitting the new buffers
Screw the new buffers on(1) (Loc-
tite243).
Fit the support plate(2) with two
screws (M4x6, Allen2.5, Loctite243).
3.3.2 Converting the X axis buffer

Dismantle the bottom rubber buffer(1)
at the gantry root (Allen, M6).
At the gantry root, attach the spacer(2)
[03210576‑xx] with a screw (M6x35).
Use the shortened Allen key for this.
Refit the previously removed rubber
buffer on the spacer (Allen5, M6).

3.3.3 Preparing the gantry

Remove the five fastening screws and
lift the board cover(1) off.

Loosen the cable ties(1).
Disconnect the exhaust air hose from
the silencer(2) (top) and from the air
connection(3) for cooling the X motor
plate (bottom),

Disconnect the hose(1) from the silen-
cer(3).
Remove the two screws(2) (Allen2.5,
M3x25) and lift off the silencer.
Make sure not to lose the two disks.
