2.3 Checking Errors Through Production Information
(WC Type)
It is possible to check for the presence of feeder errors through daily maintenance, but
this section explains how to check for such errors by inspecting the feeder through the
production information managed by the MCS.
Data required for feeder inspection
Compile the production data, and select MAINTENANCE.
Production Data (maintenance) – – – MAINTENANCE/DEVICE
Press the F1 key (select) and move the cursor to the desired device.

When MAINTENANCE/DEVICE is chosen, and the device generating the error selected,
it is possible to check the detailed error information, which can be used to determine if
an inspection is required.
Caution : These error results also include errors due to defective part shapes and defective
parts tape. For this reason, you should check both feeder and parts for devices which
suffer from low operating rates.
ERROR CODE :
The following error codes are representative of pick-up errors. For other errors, check the
ERROR CODE DISPLAY.
