8.2 Head Rotation Center Offset/Basis Mark Position Teaching

[1] Select Head Buttons
The button images showing the head positions are displayed.
Using these buttons, the head to be taught is selected.
[2] "Head Center teach" Display Section
The offsets values in X (horizontal) (mm) and Y (vertical) (mm) for the
selected head are displayed.

[3] "Basis mark position teach" Display Section
The values of the basis mark in X (horizontal) (mm) and Y (vertical)
(mm) on the left, middle and right for the selected head are displayed.

Note
The values for "Middle" show the basis mark position shot using the
PEC recognition camera when the head rotation center is moved onto the
component recognition camera view.
The values for "Right" or "Left" show the basis mark position shot using
the PEC recognition camera when the head (applicable nozzle) is turned
at an angle of 90° or 270° and the applicable nozzle is moved onto the
component recognition camera view.
[4] [Teach Start (Hd center teach)] Button
Using this button, the head center teaching is executed.
[Teach Start (Basis mark teach)] Button
Using this button, the basis mark position teaching is executed.
[5] Designate nozzle
[Designate Nozzle] Button and Nozzle Display Section
Using these selection buttons, the nozzle to be taught is
designated.
When the [Designate Nozzle] button is pressed, the "Designate
Nozzle" window appears.

Teaching Jig
For the Head Rotation Center Offset/Basis Mark Offset Teachings, the QFP
Glass Plate Jig JG-0188 is used.
•
Jig Pick-up Nozzle
For picking up the QFP Glass Plate Jig, the usual pick-up nozzle FA06 is
used.

Teaching Procedure
Procedure
(1) Replace the nozzle with the jig nozzle before the teaching and
place the QFP Glass Plate Jig in the jig storage space on the
component recognition camera.
Place the QFP Glass Plate Jig with its printed surface turned
down.
(2) Select the multi-functional head where the head rotation center/
basis mark position is taught.
(3) Press the [Teach Start (Hd center teach)] button. The head
rotation center offset will be taught.
•
When the teaching is begun, the start-up conditions are
checked.
•
If any recognition error occurs in the course of the teaching,
or the [STOP] button is pressed on the operation panel, the
operation is paused. From this condition, re-start is available.
•
In the pause condition, no other menu can be selected.
When the teaching is completed, the designated head is
returned to the origin automatically.
The teaching results are displayed in the "Head Center teach"
display section.
(4) Press the [Teach Start (Basis mark teach)] button.
The basis mark offset is taught.
•
When the teaching is begun, the start-up conditions are
checked.
•
If any recognition error occurs in the course of the teaching,
or the [STOP] button is pressed on the operation panel, the
operation is paused. From this condition, re-start is available.
•

When the teaching is completed, the designated head is returned

(5) When the teaching is completed, remove the QFP Glass Plate Jig.
