2.2. Changing the Transport Pitch

2.2.1. Changing the pitch of the 12mm tape feeder

For the 12mm tape feeder, either 4mm or 8mm pitch can be used depending on the

component types. The transport method can be set while adjusting the two screws as

shown in the figure below.

2.2.2. Pitch Change of 12/16mm Non-Stop Tape Feeder

In the case of the 12/16mm tape feeder, the transfer pitch can be changed to 4mm, 8mm

and 12mm depending on the component type. Set the transfer pitch by adjusting it with a

screw as shown below.

2.2.3. Changing the pitch of the 16-56mm tape feeder

For tape feeders over 16mm, set the pitch to the one indicated on the pusher lever (1

place).

For the 16mm tape feeder, the pitch can be set to 4mm, 8mm, or 12mm.

For the 24mm tape feeder, the pitch can be set to 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, or 20mm.

For the 32mm tape feeder, the pitch can be set to 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, or 20mm(If the

user wants the transport pitch to be 24mm, 32mm, or 40mm, set the pitch to 12mm,

16mm, or 20mm respectively and rotate the cylinder of the component placer twice).

For the NST32mm-L tape feeder, the pitch can be set to 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, or 20mm.

For the NST32mm-S tape feeder, the pitch can be set to 12mm or 16mm.

For the 44mm-L tape feeder, the pitch can be set to 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, or 20mm. For

the 44mm-S tape feeder, the pitch can be set to 16mm or 20mm. (If the user wants the

transport pitch to be 24mm, 32mm, or 40mm, set the pitch to 12mm, 16mm, or 20mm

respectively and rotate the cylinder of the component placer twice). The 56mm tape

feeder uses the same method as that of the 32mm tape feeder.

Caution

Pitch change must be done in a clean place using proper

tools. Also, pay attention to safety and try not to damage or

lose components.
