assembled into the tape guide.
Bad lubrication around the shutter area
This condition occurs when the shutter and the tape guide is not fully lubricated (if the
frictional force is felt when the shutter is moved back and forth manually).
> Solve this problem by applying the lubricant between the shutter and the tape guide. If
the problem persists even after the application of the lubricant, change to subassembly
state where the shutter is assembled into the tape guide.
Foreign material on the sprocket area
This condition occurs when the components that have come off because of bad transport
around the sprocket and ratchet area are remaining.
> Check for and remove them.
3.2.2. Pitch error
When the component is not transported to the pickup point as set by the pitch.
When the ratchet does not rotate the number of times as set
Owing to bad adjustment of the pusher lever and pitch pawl, the operation is not carried
out properly (in general, this occurs very rarely).
> Adjust the eccentricity pin.
When the Sprocket rotate beyond the number of times as set
When the force of removing the vinyl is excessive and the sprocket rotates more than the
set number
> Adjust the position of the rewind spring to (-) direction.
When the carrier tape does not exit properly
This condition occurs when the carrier tape that has completed the chip supply gets stuck
in the locker and does not exit properly (especially for the case of using embossing tape).
> Open the tape guide and the locker and reset the tape.

3.2.3. Deviation of the pickup point (in Y direction)
When the pickup point is measured by the teaching camera while moving the feeder
station of the component placer (by observing the center of the transport hole of the tape),
the position error of the pickup point of the feeder is obvious (if the feeder station is
deviated, it can be quite detrimental).
> Change the pickup point by turning the eccentricity screws that fix the ratchet to the
right and left with a driver.

frequently, please contact our customer service center.
The areas needed periodic maintenance
1. Between ratchet and pitch pawl. (Removing foreign material or component)
2. The lower side of Tape guide. (Removing foreign material or component and cleaning)
3. In the Locker. (Removing foreign material or component using an air gun)
4. Around the location pins in the front side and lower side of tape feeder. (Removing
foreign material or component or dust)
5. The lower side of feeder main frame. (Removing foreign material or component)
6. Between teeth of all gears; the drain gear, idler gear, forming gear, take up reel, planet
gear. (Removing foreign material or component)
7. Around the pusher lever roller. (Removing foreign material or component)
8. The upper side of Back up guide. (Removing foreign material or component)
