E0013 A part is flipped over or stands on an edge due to defective shutter operation
[Cause]
The shutter does not operate smoothly due to defective tape guide
[Measures]
Contact our designated C/S company or local agent. (Replace the tape guide)
E0014 A part is flipped over or stands on an edge due to inappropriate part feeding speed
(for feeders larger than 12mm SMF and SLM feeders)
[Cause]
Check whether the speed control valve is set in the low part feeding speed mode for
the feeder cylinder (for feeders larger than 12mm feeders)
Check whether a part is not flipped over or stands on an edge by controlling the
feeding speed of the feeder using the speed control valve
[Measures]
Control the part feeding speed to an appropriate speed using the speed control valve
E0020 Defective feeding due to foreign materials on the sprocket and ratchet
[Cause]
Defective maintenance of the tape feeder
[Measures]
Remove the foreign materials on the sprocket and ratchet
E0021 Defective feeding motor operation of the tape feeder (for SME and SLM feeders)
[Cause]
1) Abnormal power supply to the motor (defective fuse in the feeder power supply board)
2) The LED color changes to red due to overload and the motor does not operate
3) Defective probe pin
4) Foreign materials exist on the probe pin
5) The feeder base is damaged or defective
6) Foreign materials exist on the feeder base board contact
7) Defective feeder control board
8) Defective feeder control board cable
9) Any of the 7 segment errors occurred (E0: Overcurrent error, E1: Origin sensor error,
E6: Pitch counter error).
[Measures]
1) Check whether the power is supplied to the motor properly. If there is a problem,

check whether the fuse in the feeder power supply board has a problem. If it is
defective, contact our designated C/S company or local agent before replacing the
fuse.
2) Eliminate the cause of overload or contact our designated C/S or local agent for
appropriate measures.
3) Remove the feeder and reinstall it. If the problem occurs continuously, contact our
designated C/S company or local agent. (Replace the probe pin)
4) Remove the feeder and remove the foreign materials on it. Then reinstall the feeder.
5) Change the feeder base board and check whether it operates properly. Contact our
designated C/S company or local agent.
6) Check whether there are foreign materials on the feeder base board contact. If any,
remove them.
7) Change the feeder control board and check whether it operates properly. Contact our
designated C/S company or local agent.
8) Check whether the feeder control board cable is connected properly. If it has a
problem, contact our designated C/S company or local agent. (Replace the cable)
9) Remove the feeder and then install it again. If this problem occurs continuously,
contact our designated C/S or local agent for appropriate measures.
E0022 The tape feeder cylinder does not operate properly (only for pneumatic SM feeders)
[Cause]
1) Air leaks from the cylinder.
2) Solenoid valve and cylinder works abnormally.
3) Pneumatic pressure is supplied to the cylinder abnormally.
[Measures]
1) Check that if sound of air leakage is heard around the cylinder. If so, contact our
designated C/S company or local agent. (Replace the cylinder.)
2) Check that operation signal is inputted to the solenoid valve properly. If there is any
problem, contact our designated C/S company or local agent. (Replace the solenoid
valve)
3) Check for a bent tube on the pneumatic line as well as air leakage from it.
E0023 Insufficient feeding force of the feeder
[Cause]
1) Check whether the reel width exceeds 13mm and the reel interferes with other feeders
installed nearby
2) The tape reel is not installed properly on the tape feeder hanger (only for SM feeders)
3) A part of the sticker attached to the tape reel has been peeled off, interfering with the

tape feeder installed beside it
4) The reel stopper has been damaged or deformed (only for SM feeders)
[Measures]
1) Remove the tape feeder installed in the right feeder base slot or replace the reel with
the one with a width of less than 13mm.
2) Install the tape reel on the tape feeder hanger properly, referring to the tape feeder
manual.
3) Check the tape reel and remove the cause of the interference.
4) Contact our designated C/S company or local agent. (Replace the reel stopper)
E0024 The feeder spring has been damaged or missing (only for pneumatic SM feeders)
[Cause]
Spring is damaged or slipped out.
[Measures]
Check the spring visually and if it has slipped out, place the spring at the correct
position again. If the spring is extended, contact our designated C/S company or local
agent. (Replace spring)
E0025 A pitch error occurred (only for pneumatic SM feeders)
[Cause]
The sprocket does not rotate as often as designated due to improper adjustment of the
pusher pawl and stop pawl.
The vinyl removal force is excessive according to the part supply state or the sprocket
rotates less than the designated number of times.
The sprocket and ratchet were damaged or worn and therefore they do not rotate as
often as designated.
[Measures]
Contact our designated C/S or local agent.
E0026 Index sensor is defective
[Cause]
1) Index sensor is out of order.
2) Sensor dog or lever is deformed.
[Measures]
1) Check whether an error occurs even when the cylinder operates normally. If so,
contact our designated C/S or local agent.
2) Check whether the lever enters the dog when supplying a part manually. If there is a
