Selecting the Original Table
When either Device Change or Changeover mode is selected, the device table
to be used in production first must be selected.
Procedure
1. Select [Operation] in the [Main] screen.
2. At the [Original Table] section, selct the device table which has
production priority as either “Stage 1” or “Stage 2”.
3. Press [Close] to return to the [Main] screen.

<Explanation of the feeder stickers>
The sticker that is affixed to the side of each feeder is printed with a code
indicating the standards for that feeder.
Example: W D 08 04 - - - - -
W: Indicates that the feeder can be used on the CP-8 series.
D: This indicates the feeder is a paper tape feeder while "E" represents an
embossed tape feeder.
08: This indicates that a tape with a width of 8 mm can be set on the feeder.
04: This signifies that the pitch of the feeder is 4 mm.

Feeder Settings
Refer to the production program device data so that no mistakes are made
when feeders are loaded.
Procedure
WARNING
Be sure to turn the 200V power off before performing this
procedure.
1. Verify that the tape guide is not deformed.
2. Place the various part tapes in their dedicated feeders.
If a part tape is placed in the wrong feeder, the tape guide may not close
properly.
3. Check that there are no foreign objects in the pallet groove or on
the base of the feeder, and use a cloth to wipe the surfaces
clean as required.
