It is possible to skip specific boards from among the boards specified in the
program so that no parts are placed on the specified board(s). This is referred
to as the board skip function. For details on the board skip function see the
CP-842E/842ME System Reference manual.
Procedure
1. Select [Board Skip Data] from the [Mode] section at the [Main]
screen.
2. Select the number of the board that is to be skipped from the
[Board Number and Status] section.
3. If the panels for which the board skip setting applies are all the
remaining panels, select [Remaining Panels] from the [Target
Panel] section. If the board skip setting is to be applied to only
the panel currently being produced then select [Current Panels].
4. Press [Close].
5. Initiate production by entering [Production] from the [Main]
screen and production will be carried out without placing parts
on the specified board(s).

Procedure
1. Select [Operation] from the [Mode] section at the [Main] screen.
2. Select [Pass] in the [Operation Mode] section.
3. Press [Close].
4. Enter [Production] and production will commence using pass
mode operation.

This function makes it possible to intentionally skip nozzles that are severely
bent, nozzles that are having difficulty placing parts because of a dirty back-
ground disk, or nozzles that for whatever reason you do not want to use.
Procedure
1. Select [Nozzle Skip] from the [Mode] section at the [Main]
screen.
2. Select the nozzle that is to be skipped.
The display for the nozzle being skipped will change to [MS].
Note: All nozzles cannot be displayed on the screen at one time. Use the up and
down arrow keys to display the nozzles that do not appear on the screen.
Select the nozzle again to clear the skip setting and return the display to
[OK].

Select [Close].
4. Select [Production] to start production and the skipped nozzle
will not be used in production.
