DANGER
Transportation only permitted on the original ASM pallet!
When transporting the SIPLACE TX machine on a pallet, you may only use the original
ASM pallet. Transportation on the original ASM pallet is the safest form of transportation,
to avoid tilting of the placement machine. The shipping braces and steel spacers must
be fitted for this.
Screw the two shipping braces and steel spacers to the feet and the pallet (see item
2 in fig. 4.2 - 1
, page 175).
Screw one of the shipping braces to the feet and pallet on the opposite side (see item
1 in fig. 4.2 - 1
, page 175).
Transport the SIPLACE TX on the pallet as near as possible to the final site of use.
The SIPLACE TX can also be safely transported on the original ASM pallet, without the
wooden crate and without the two component trolleys.
DANGER
Risk to life from powerful magnetic fields caused by the permanent magnets inside the
placement machine
During transportation, keep the protective covers on the placement machine closed, to
prevent any contact with the permanent magnets.
If the covers are opened, the safety instructions for handling permanent magnets shall
apply immediately.
Read and follow section 2.1.5, page 39).
WARNING
Damage to property on the placement machine!
There is a risk of damaging the placement machine if it is transported without crate or
pallet.
When transporting the placement machine over longer distances, always use a pal-
let with the shipping braces and steel spacers fitted. Please note that this is the saf-
est way to transport the placement machine.
The thread for the machine feet in the placement machine frame could be damaged
by being dragged along the floor or from impact. When you are transporting the
placement machine, make sure that all the feet are clear of the floor.
Read chapter 4 of this manual through completely before transporting the machine.
Enlist the help of a second person to watch while you lift the placement machine and
make sure that the placement machine does not tip over to one side.

WARNING
Risk of damage due to excessive fork spacing!
Increased fork spacing, which means that the placement machine is raised at points out-
side its contact surface, can lead to deformation of the machine frame and cause damage
to cables and lines.
The forks may only be opened to a degree which ensures that they are still within the
contact area of the placement machine underside (see fig. 4.2 - 4
, page 179).
WARNING
DANGER OF CRUSHING!
Risk of crushing feet when transporting the placement machine.
Wear special protective shoes.
