8.2.2 Alarm Codes and Troubleshooting Check List
Alarm status, cause, and remedy are listed in the following table to facilitate trouble-
shooting of alarm codes.
Note: Some of the repairs, such as replacement of a servo motor or servo pack, require special
training and expertise. Contact Fuji before attempting to perform any of these procedures.
Please have the “Check List for Troubleshooting” available for reference when contacting Fuji
for assistance.

AC Servopack Check List for Troubleshooting
Alarm Alarm Name Status Cause Check Item
Remedy
A.02 Parameter Break-
down
• Occurs at power ON. • Servopack power supply
malfunctions.
• Servopack defective.
• Does AC power supply
sometimes provide 30V to 60V?
• Restore the AC power supply.
• Replace the Servopack.
A.03 Main Circuit
Detector Error
• Occurs at power ON or
during operation
• Servopack power supply
malfunctions.
• Servopack defective.
• Does AC power supply
sometimes provide 30V to 60V?
• Restore the AC power supply.
• Replace the Servopack.
A.04 Parameter Setting
Error
• Occurs at power ON or
during operation.
• Servopack defective.
• SERCOS IF defective.
• Replace the Servopack.
• Replace the SERCOS IF.
A.05 Combination Error • Occurs at power ON. • Servopack capacity does not
match motor capacity.
• Servopack defective.
• Check the combination of
Servopack capacity and motor
capacity.
• Servopack defective.
• Match the Servopack capacity
to the motor capacity.
• Replace the Servopack.
• Replace the motor.
A.10 Overcurrent • Occurs at control power
ON.
• Overcurrent occurs at
main power ON or during
motor operation.
• Servopack defective.
• Servopack detects overcurrent
by mistake.
• Failure in electronic overload
thermal relay forced reset for
overload alarm
• Grounding: Grounding in motor
or motor cable wiring.
• Shortcircuit in load: Load short-
circuit in motor or motor cable
• Shortcircuit in load: Load short-
circuit in main circuit in
Servopack.
• Improper connection between
phases U, V and W and ground,
shortcircuit between phases or
incorrect ground wiring.
• Use a tester to check between
phases U, V and W.
• DB circuit or regenerative circuit
resistor or wiring grounding.
• Replace the Servopack.
• Replace the motor or manually
correct the motor cable to
eliminate grounding.
• Replace the motor or manually
correct the motor cable to
eliminate grounding.
• Replace the Servopack.

· Occurs at main power ON.
· Servopack defective.
· Wiring to regenerative resistor
defective.
· Servopack defective.
· Incorrect regenerative resistor
wiring.
· Regenerative resistor
disconnected.
· Check the wiring to regenerative
resistor.
· Servopack defective.
· Check that wiring to the
regenerative resistor is proper.
· Check the regenerative
resistance value.
· Replace the Servopack.
· Check the regenerative value
and correct the wiring.

A.40 Overvoltage · Occurs at control power ON.
· Occurs at main power ON
or when motor is in operation.
· Servopack defective.
· Excessive power supply voltage.
· Servopack defective.
· Check the AC power supply
voltage. (Is there excessive
voltage variation?)
· Servopack defective.
· Replace the Servopack.
· Set the AC power supply voltage
to a value in the normal setting
range.
· Replace the Servopack.
