2.4.2 Special safety instructions

ATTENTION 2
Before starting the retrofit, all safety instructions from the according Service Manuals must be
read.
Special attention has to be taken on the chapter Safety Instructions for Work on the Cutting De-
vice. 2
There is a high risk of injury due to wrong handling of the cutting unit. 2
If any covers or sheets must be removed, take care of the grounding contactors that may be at-
tached. It’s easy to tear them of. 2
If it is necessary to remove the grounding contactors, make sure that they will be connected cor-
rectly again during assembly. 2
2.4.3 Preliminaries
– Most screws have to be used again to assemble the new parts.
– Keep all screws because you will some of them again for assembly.
– The real condition of the machine may sometimes differ from the pictures or can be used mir-
ror-inverted on the other location.
– The following assembly instruction describes the installation of the protective plate at location
2 on a HF/3-machine.
– The wiring for the switches is almost the same for every location.

: Take out the changeover tables (COT’s).
: Shut down the station computer and turn off the placement system.
: Disconnect the placement system from the power supply.

: Remove the nozzle changer if present.

: Remove the reject bin and the cover plate.
