: Install the “new” empty tape guide channel.

: Open the cable duct behind the docking unit.
There you can find the cable to plug the two connectors from the left and the right switch.

: Put the connected cables back into the cable duct and lay the cables so that they can not be
damaged. Fix all cables with cable clips and cable ties at adequate positions to the machine
frame or to already existing cables.

: Reassemble the cover plate.

: Mount the feeder protection plate to the empty tape guide channel.
Use the screws and washers as shown in the pictures.

Use the smaller screw without
any washers at the left side
Use the bigger screw with two
washers at the right side.

: Release the spring on both sides of the damper.
Be careful ! The springs can be lost very easily.

: Put the damper on the ball joint of the feeder protection plate and secure it with the spring.
: Put the damper on the ball joint at the empty tape guide channel, but don’t secure it there with
the spring.

Take out this spring to get the
damper off from the ball joint
