1.2 “Offline setup station”
The “Offline setup station” can supply power by itself to the feeder and this allows setting the tape to the
feeder without a machine. The tape feeding or the pitch can be set.

Functions of the panel buttons and display indication of the Offline setup station are the same as those of "set-up
station on machine".

There are two types: One is for Japan and the other is for overseas market. Refer to “Power supply for Offline setup
station” of “Before using the machine” for details.
Fuse (2A)
The fuse is a resettable one. Press the protruded portion to reset the fuse when it blows.

CAUTION
Install the Offline setup ststion in a safe place before use. If it is used in an unsafe place such as on an unstable table,
it may fall off resulting in injury. Organize the power cable with safety in mind.

Set the feeder.
Set the feeder to a set-up station on machine or an Offine setup station. Refer to ”3.1.2 Installing to a
station” for setup of the feeder.

Lift the tape guide assembly.
Open the tape guide front lever and lift the tape guide assembly.

Set the tape reel.
Set the tape reel for operation to the dedicated reel holder of the set-up station on machine.

Set the tape on the tape feeder.

CAUTION
Take care not to install the tape upside down.

Peel off the top tape.
A tape has two layers; the ”carrier tape” contains electronic components and the ”top tape” covers
the components. Peel off the tape to separate the layers.

Set the carrier tape.
Insert the carrier tape into the hole of the tape guide front lever.

Set the top tape.
Pass the top tape into the notch of the tape guide assembly. Pull the top tape long enough to reach
the winding roller.
