Application examples
1. Application examples
There are various kinds of applications for the F3 feeder depending on the conditions as follows.
This section gives examples of A only and examples of B only in the following terms.
· Machine specifications:
A. Using changeable feeder bank
B. Using fixed bank
· Feed pitch setup:
A. The programmer sets in the pickup data.
B. The operator sets up for each station when installing a tape.
· Setup space:
A. There is space exclusively for setup away from the machines.
B. There is no space exclusively for setup and setup is performed close to the machine.
· Operation environment:
A. There are a lot of feeders and operation can be performed through division of labor.
B. There are not many feeders and each worker executes whole range of work.

Optional stations used for setup or supplying components
· Set-up station on machine
The station is installed to the machine body and works with direct power supply. The station is mainly used for tape set
of replacement feeder when components are used up or check (or setup) of feed pitch.
· Offline setup station
The station can be used separately from the machine by supplying AC power. The station is mainly used for tape set of
feeder during setup or check (or setup) of feed pitch.
