2.1.4 Requirements and restrictions for the TwinHead in the 2-gantry area
– The machine SW version >= 603 SP1 and SIPLACE Pro 4.1 must usually be installed for a
TwinHead in a 2 gantry placement area.
– In X-machines up to serial number B325 and the "CO camera, stat. P&P (TYPE33) 55x45
digit." (item no. 03016339-) < 04, only one TwinHead is possible per placement area.
The CO camera can be ordered from 01.2007 as the "TwinHead ReConfiguration Kits X-Se-
ries" (item no. 00119721-).
– For "CO camera stat. P&P (TYPE33) 55x45 digit." (item no. 03016339-) < FS04, a "TQM167
SIPLACE Embedded module" item no. 03003536- on the "Control unit 1, vision stationary"
(item no. 00363961-) is required. This TQM module may need to be ordered separately.
– The different nature of the wiring for the "CO camera, stat. P&P (TYPE33) 55x45 digit." (item
no. 03016339-) = FS 03 and >= FS04 is the reason why mixing of both versions in a placement
area is not recommended and is also not described here.
– In X-machines up to serial number B325 and the "CO camera, stat. P&P (TYPE33) 55x45
digit." (item no. 03016339-) <= 04, a "Control unit 1, vision stationary" (item no. 00363961-) is
required. Please check whether this is still included in the current parts list of the optional pack-
age.
– It is generally only possible to have one stationary camera per head in a 2 gantry placement
area with two TwinHeads.
– In the case of one Twin / Twin configuration in a 2 gantry placement area with MTC, the follow-
ing hardware is needed in addition to the machines SW 603 and SIPLACE Pro 4.1:
● MTC drawer frame (item no. 03009963-) with function status 03
● "Nozzle changer TwinHead before the MTC X-Series" (item no. 00119747-).
2.1.5 Requirements and restrictions for the CP20 placement head
– The C&P 20 placement head can only be used in conjunction with the component trolley dock-
ing unit for the X feeder modules and the X-series docking unit.
– In a 2-gantry placement area, the CP20 can only be operated with one further CP20 placement
head.
– The C&P20 cannot be used together with an MTC2 in one placement area.
– Only use the nozzle changer and camera types which is suitable for this head type and elec-
trical modules as described in the instructions. Remove all modules which do not belong to this
head type. There may by the risk of a crash otherwise.

2.1.6 Requirements and restrictions for the CP 6/12 placement head
– The placement head CP 6/12 can be used both in connection with S feeder modules and X
feeder modules and the respective CO trolley or docking units or the MTC2.
– In a 2-gantry placement area, the CP6/12 heads can be operated both with a CP12/6 head and
with a TwinHead. Operation with a CP20 in a 2 gantry placement area is not permitted.
– Only use the nozzle changer and camera types which is suitable for this head type and elec-
trical modules as described in the instructions. Remove all modules which do not belong to this
head type. There may by the risk of a crash otherwise.
