4.1 Introduction
4.1.1 Safety Instructions
DANGER
QQQ
The machines in the SIPLACE series are supplied with a system voltage of 3 x 400 V ± 10 %, 50/60 Hz.
This means that parts of the machine will be carrying potentially lethal voltages even when the main switch is
switched off.
Improper handling or use of this machine could therefore result in death or serious injury as well as consider-
able damage to property.
You should note and comply with the relevant accident prevention and VDE
1
regulations (particularly VDE
0113). You should also comply with the special safety regulations which apply in your own country.
Measurement and corrective maintenance work may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
Before you start any corrective maintenance work, switch off the main switch and pull out the power. Make
sure the machine cannot be switched back on again unintentionally.
If you do not comply with this requirement, touching live parts may result in death or serious injury.
This corrective maintenance work must not be carried out by anyone except qualified personnel.
