2.4.3.4 Vision Functions
The vision functions are used to execute the Teach / Test fiducials, Measure component and Change package
form data functions.
PLEASE NOTE
The complete range of vision functions is described in Chapter 4 of this User Manual.
l Teach fiducials (line engineer functions)
The "Teach fiducials“ menu is used to edit fiducials for the PCB position detection system.
l Test component (line engineer functions)
The "Test component“ menu is used to edit package forms for component centering.
2.4.3.5 Start SITEST
This option is used to start the SITEST package for setting up and calibrating the automatic placement
machine.
The user interface and the range of SITEST functions is described in the separate SITEST User Manual.
2.4.3.6 GEM Interface (Option)
In the GEM menu, you can modify and execute the functions of the GEM interface.

2.4.4.1 Machine Options

At the "Operator“ operator control level you can select the "Machine options“ menu to identify which machine
options are available and have been activated.
At the "Line engineer“ operator control level you can activate or deactivate the displayed machine options.
Only the machine options that have been configured for the station concerned will be displayed.
