Check Every 1000 Hours (Once Two Months)
<<Descriptions and Caution in Operation>>
From “1-6-2 Cleaning and Greasing the Cam box 1” to “1-6-12 Cleaning and
Greasing the Front and Rear Conveyors” have the description of a sequence of
operation. When carrying out operation in the same period as the check every
1000 hours, you do not need to repeat the operation from “Returning to origin” to
“Opening the Safety Cover.” So the description about these procedures is only on
this page.
If you carry out the operation separately, make sure of doing the procedures from
“Returning to origin” to “Turning off the power.”
∗ Before starting operation, carry out “Return to
origin” on the “Machine adjustment menu”
screen. If they have already been done, this is
unnecessary.
1. Turn off the power.
2. Open the front safety cover.
3. Open the rear center safety cover and
upper cover.

Clean the cam follower, lever fulcrum,
spring and cam face, then apply
grease.
(Oil : VALIANT U2)
1.Cam follower
Grease cam follower through grease nipple.
2.Lever fulcrum
Grease lever fulcrum through the grease
nipple.
3.Spring
Directly apply grease to hook and joint.
4.Cam face
Directly apply grease to cam face.

1-6-3 Cleaning and Greasing the Cam Box 2
This unit has two cams which carry out tape feeding and adhesive tape (option) feeding.
1. Remove upper 2 screws of 4 ones
fixing the cover.
2. Remove 2 lower screws, holding the
cover by hand.
3. Clean the lever fulcrum, spring, and
cam face, then apply grease.
(Oil : VALIANT U2)
1.Lever fulcrum
Grease lever fulcrum through grease nipple.
2.Spring
Directly apply grease to hook and joint.
3.Cam face
Directly apply grease to cam face.
∗ After finishing to grease, set the cover removed
at the procedure 2.
